We are partnered with Plaid to enable you to verify and connect your bank account to our platform by using your bank login credentials. Plaid supports the majority of banking institutions in the U.S..



When you’re trying to use Plaid to connect your banking institution to the Blair platform, there are a number of reasons why you may not be able to do so. We have summarized potential errors you may run into and how to resolve them:

Username or password incorrect

If you are told by Plaid that you entered incorrect credentials, please try again with the following steps:

Ensure that you have selected the correct banking institution
Confirm that the credentials entered are correct by logging into your banking institution's account using the same set of credentials. Ideally, do so from a secure web browser and not via a mobile app.
Enter your credentials on Plaid again, remember that extra spaces, capitalization, and punctuation errors are common causes of invalid credentials
Check your banking institution's website and account for special settings to allow access for third-party apps, such as a "third party application password" or "allow third party access" setting. Also, check whether you are presented with some form of agreement page, modal, or some other actionable task
Try connecting via a different device (phone, computer) or different network (mobile internet on phone vs WiFi)
If you are on a VPN, disconnect from it

Action required with your account

If you are told by Plaid that your account requires actions, please try again with the following steps:

Check your banking institution website and account for special settings to allow access for third-party apps, such as a "third party application password" or "allow third party access" setting. Also, check whether you are presented with some form of agreement page, modal, or some other actionable task

Too many attempts

If you are told by Plaid that there were too many login attempts, please try again with the following steps:

Check whether your bank account was locked by logging into your banking institution's website. If you cannot log in due to your account being locked, the website will usually provide you with information on how to unblock your account. If not, please contact your banking institution directly to help you unblock your account.

Banking institution not listed

While Plaid supports over 11,000 banking institutions it is possible that your bank is not listed. Please verify that you have entered the name of your banking institution correctly. If you are still unable to find your banking institution there may be two reasons why:

Plaid does not support your banking institution
Our current integration with Plaid does not support your banking institution
